Studying according to Time Table

Experts suggest that studying according to a fixed schedule can be of great help if someone is having issues with regularity in studying. But that to need a lot of power, determination and dedication as only preparing preparing time table for study wont help. Students have to stick to the time table and follow strictly.Time table should be prepared by allocating time for daily activities too. Don’t make a timetable which could be hard to follow as it would have a negative impact on learning by unnecessary stress and anxiety.

Advice is to first look for the syllabus of the exam for which you are preparing and previous years papers. Mark the subjects and its topics as important, subjects which need more time, topics which are frequently asked. Allow study time to each topic from all subjects. Time table can be made for a week or month but should be followed daily rigoursly to take maximum result out of it.

Say No to Mobile Phones during Study

Mobile phones are the biggest distraction in studies be it online or offline. Although mobile phones can be good or bad depending on how we use it, youths are so attached to mobile phones that their day to day activities are associated with it. Mobile phones have become an inseparable part of our lives and it is no doubt that it is taking away the peace from our lives. Social media platforms are decreasing student interest in studing when they are sitting to study with mobile phones.

It is necessary for every student to strictly stay away from mobile phones during studies. Block all kinds of notifications, silence the ringer for messages and calls. You can select to modify the call setting to notify for any particular number, say from mom or dad but restrict it to a few. Restrict the use of social media and if possible, do not use it at all. Social media can be used any time but the time of study if gone, will never come back. If you are preparing for an exam like JEE Main or  , you have a limited number of attempts to appear for it, so study should be your top priority.

Focussed Learning

Learning in a focussed manner is something that is highly essential to have a better outcome for your hard work and time spent on studies. There are many students who study for less time but get the most of it. It is because of the focussed learning. It does not matter how much time you spend sitting for study, if you are not focussed in studying, the resultant would be less.

It is common to get distracted during studies, the reason can be anything from noise, mobile phones, exam stress or anything which drives you out from study. But what is needed is determination and dedication towards your study. This problem of distraction has only one solution, your will power to crack the exam. How desperate you are to crack the exam will decide your success in the exam.

Practice Meditation

Meditation is very helpful in keeping the mind peaceful and stress free. Although it is not easy to practice meditation, one can begin by simply laying down on a peaceful place and not thinking about anything. There are many yoga practices and meditation tactics to keep the mind relaxed and free of anxiety. Peaceful and focussed mind is very important to get the most of your study input. And if you’re not focusses or your mind is in stress and anxiety, the effort you put in studies would bear less fruits, thus resulting in less marks in the exam. One can also take help of their parents or a yoga teacher to learn meditation. It is not necessary to spend hours on this, but just a few minutes in morning and evening or in between your studies whenever you feel heavy.

Stay Motivated

This is the most important part of preparation which certains the path to success. Motivation is essential in any exam, in every struggle or path we take in life. If someone has lost motivation, they have lost half the battle and if one is motivated enough to crack the exam, they have a fair chance of getting success. It is thus advised to stay motivated throughout your exam preparation. Keep yourself motivated, talk to your parents and friends, read motivational books or interviews. And last but not least, say to yourself, “I have to crack it”.
